Frequently Asked Questions
My stand mixer shows E0 and is flashing, what should I do?+
The E0 code, with the whole display flashing, indicates that the micro-switch is not closed. Lower the drive head until you hear the click confirming it is properly engaged: the appliance must never be used with the head raised.
What do error codes E1, E2, E3 and E4 mean?+
E1 indicates that the motor speed is not detected, E2 a fault with the NTC sensor, E3 an EEP fault in the scale and E4 a faulty weight sensor. These faults involve internal components: do not open the appliance yourself, repairs must be carried out by a qualified workshop.
The scale shows a flashing “- - - - g”, why?+
This is the electronic scale's overload indication: the weight placed on it exceeds 9,999 g. Remove some of the ingredients to get back under this limit. To exit the scale interface, press the “switch” button and return to standby.
How much dough can I prepare?+
The maximum amount of flour is 0.6 kg, with a recommended flour/water ratio of 5:3. The total mixture must not exceed 0.96 kg. Be careful not to exceed these amounts when filling the bowl.
How do I knead dough correctly?+
Mix for 20 seconds at speed 1, then 20 seconds at speed 2, then about 3 minutes at speed 3. Use the dough hook or the mixing blade for this type of preparation.
Which accessory and speed should I choose?+
The dough hook is reserved for heavy doughs, at speeds 1 to 3, and should not be run for long periods at low speed. The mixing blade is suited to medium mixtures such as thick batters and purées, at speeds 1 to 11. The egg whisk is used for liquid preparations (sauces, egg whites, cream) and is used at speed 12.
The accessory is rubbing against the splash guard ring, how do I fix this?+
Lower the tilting arm again and briefly switch the appliance on: this re-centres the drive head inside the bowl. Always switch off and unplug the appliance before fitting, changing or removing an accessory.
How do I clean the bowl and accessories?+
Unplug the appliance before cleaning and never immerse the motor unit in water. Remove softened dough residue using a dish brush, with a little detergent if necessary, then rinse with clean water. Let the parts dry completely before reusing them, and never use an abrasive or corrosive product.
