Frequently Asked Questions

My mixture doesn't turn into slush, what should I do?+

First allow 15 to 60 minutes depending on the ingredients and volume. If the texture still hasn't been reached after 60 minutes, raise the temperature by one level and wait 10 to 15 minutes before checking again.

The screen shows E3, what does this mean?+

E3 is a blockage alarm. Check that the mixture contains at least 4% sugar, or between 2.8% and 16% vol alcohol; if not, add sugared water or wine and then restart the machine. In the Ice cream programme, E3 appearing is not serious: simply restart the appliance.

What do codes E0, E1 and E2 mean?+

E0 means the safety switch is not closed: reassemble the container correctly. E1 (temperature sensor disconnected) and E2 (sensor short circuit) require the intervention of a professional, who alone must open the rear cover.

The slush doesn't flow out when I open the handle, why?+

Fill the appliance up to the maximum fill line and make sure it is running. For a smoother flow, lower the temperature level using the minus button: more liquid iced drinks flow more easily.

The motor stopped during preparation, how do I restart it?+

The appliance temporarily cuts the motor in case of overload. Let it cool for about 15 minutes, remove all parts and accessories, and check that no ingredient is blocking the auger before reassembling and restarting.

How do I rinse the machine after use?+

Dispense all the remaining iced drink and stop the current preset. Add hot water (60°C maximum) up to the maximum fill line, start the cleaning cycle and slowly dispense the water immediately, collecting it in a large glass or bowl. Repeat if needed, then switch off the appliance.

Are the parts dishwasher-safe?+

Yes, all parts except the motor base and the evaporator are dishwasher-safe, in the lower rack. They must never be washed with a heated drying cycle. The motor base and the evaporator should be wiped with a disinfected cloth or a warm, damp cloth.

Why do I need to wait before first use?+

After unpacking, leave the appliance standing upright on the counter for at least 2 hours before running it. This waiting period allows the refrigerant to settle in the condenser, for optimal and safe use.
