Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do before using the appliance for the very first time?+
Take the appliance and its accessories out of the box, then remove all stickers, protective film, and plastic. Wipe the removable parts with a damp cloth (never abrasive products) and check that your mains voltage matches 220-240V 50/60Hz before plugging in the adapter.
How do I recharge the appliance, and how long does charging take?+
Plug in the supplied adapter: the indicator lights flash while charging and all switch off once charging is complete. The appliance is fully charged after 3 to 5 hours and must not be used while charging. It is normal for the appliance body to feel warm during charging.
What does the flashing indicator light mean during use?+
When the last LED light flashes, this indicates that the battery is low and the appliance needs recharging. Battery life is about 60 minutes, and it is shorter when the water spray function is used.
How do I correctly use the mop to clean a floor?+
Press the on/off button to start the appliance, then pre-wet the area to be cleaned using the water spray button. After cleaning, switch the appliance off by pressing the on/off button again.
How much water can I put in the tank?+
Use only clean water and never exceed the indicated maximum level. Adding too much water causes the rotation to fail and damages the machine.
How do I clean and maintain the appliance?+
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it, then wipe it with a damp cloth without using harsh or abrasive cleaners (or scouring pads or steel wool). Never immerse the appliance in water; the cleaning and polishing pads are machine washable.
What safety precautions should I follow?+
Never immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid, and plug it in only to an earthed outlet with the correct voltage. The appliance is Class II, rated IP20 (not water-protected), and intended for indoor use only.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?+
The power cord cannot be replaced: if it is damaged, the appliance must be disposed of and never used again. Always switch off and unplug the appliance before changing accessories.
How long does it take to charge the stick vacuum?+
The appliance is fully charged after 3 to 5 hours. During charging, the lights flash; when all the lights turn off, the battery is full. Do not use the appliance while it is charging.
My stick vacuum heats up while charging, is that a cause for concern?+
No, it is normal for the body of the appliance to heat up while charging. Let charging finish, then unplug the appliance before using it.
How can I tell that the battery is almost empty?+
When the last light starts flashing, this signals a low charge level: it is time to put the appliance back on charge. Conversely, during charging the lights flash and all turn off once the battery is full.
Can I charge the stick vacuum with another charger?+
No, only use the detachable power adapter supplied with the appliance. Before plugging in, check that the voltage shown on the appliance matches that of your electrical installation. Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries with this charger.
The battery no longer holds a charge, can I replace it?+
No, this appliance contains batteries that are not replaceable. The power cable is not replaceable either: if it is damaged, the appliance must be disposed of. Used batteries must not be thrown out with household waste, take them to a suitable collection point.
How do I use the stick vacuum on a stained area?+
Switch on the appliance with the on/off button, then dampen the area to be cleaned using the water spray button before going over it. Once cleaning is finished, press the on/off button again to switch off the appliance.
The cloths are dirty, how do I clean them?+
The cleaning and polishing cloths are machine washable. For the appliance itself, unplug it and wipe it with a damp cloth, without abrasive cleaner, scouring pad or steel wool. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Can I use this stick vacuum outdoors or in a very damp room?+
No, the appliance carries the marking “for indoor use only” and its IP20 rating means it is not protected against water. Reserve it for cleaning indoor floors, away from water splashes.
