Fabric Shaver

Make sure your hands and the garment are completely dry, then lay the garment out flat. Switch on the appliance and shave the fabric across its whole surface. Always lay the garment out flat: if it is folded, it could be damaged.

It runs on batteries: lower the compartment and insert 2 AA batteries, observing the polarity (+/-). Use only new, non-rechargeable batteries, and remove them if the appliance won't be used for a long time, to prevent leakage.

Switch off the appliance, remove the batteries, then turn the lint container counterclockwise to empty it. Then turn the grille counterclockwise to remove it, take out the blade by pulling on the plastic part, and clean the blade and filter with the supplied brush. Be careful of the sharp part.

Put the blade back on the machine, then refit the grille by turning it clockwise, and finally put the lint container back on. Handle the blade with care, as the sharp part can cause injury.

Yes: fit it in place when treating delicate fabrics or fabrics with long fibres, to avoid damaging them. For regular fabrics with short fibres, it is recommended to use the appliance without this cover.

Do not press down firmly on the machine while using it, and do not use it while you are wearing the garment. This appliance is designed only to remove lint: do not use it on other materials, or to shave hair or facial hair.
