Frequently Asked Questions
My vacuum cleaner isn't suctioning as well, what should I do?+
Remove the dust bin assembly, open the cover, take out the filter sponge and clean off the dust on the surface, then reassemble in reverse order. Then check that the bin is properly fitted: the groove on the bottom cover must be aligned with the rib on the main body.
How do I empty and clean the dust container?+
After removing the flexible hose, press the dust bin release button, then press the container button to empty out the dust. Open the bin cover to remove the HEPA filter and clean it. When the bin is full, also remove and clean the cyclone separator, then reassemble everything in order.
My vacuum cleaner doesn't respond when I switch it on, what should I do?+
This fault is usually caused by a defective switch, a loose speed control potentiometer cable, poorly connected internal wires or a disconnected power cable. Checking these requires opening the main body and using a multimeter: take the appliance to an authorised after-sales service rather than dismantling it yourself.
Can I vacuum up fireplace ashes or cigarette butts?+
No. Never vacuum up flammable substances such as lit matches, cigarette butts or hot ashes. Also avoid needles, tacks and other sharp objects.
Can I use it outdoors or on a wet floor?+
No: this vacuum cleaner must not be used outdoors or on wet or damp surfaces. Do not touch the cord or plug with wet hands, and keep the appliance away from heat sources.
How do I fit and remove the flexible hose?+
Always unplug the appliance before fitting or removing an accessory. To fit the hose, slide the air inlet cover, insert the hose and press until it clicks into place. To release it, firmly press the button located at the end of the hose, in the inlet duct.
How do I use the blow function?+
Fit the flexible hose onto the appliance's air inlet, after removing the air outlet grille. This function is recommended for gathering scattered dry debris such as leaves or confetti. This is an additional function to be used briefly: if the hose and handle become very hot, stop and wait a few minutes before continuing.
How do I switch back to vacuum mode after using the blow function?+
Once you have finished using the blow function, remove the blow plate. Then refit the filter and the cover before using the vacuum function again.
