Frequently Asked Questions
My blower doesn't start when I press the trigger, what should I do?+
The trigger is protected by a lock button. First press the unlock button, then the variable-speed trigger to start the blower. After use, the same button lets you lock the trigger again to prevent any accidental start-up.
My blower isn't working at all, what could be causing this?+
First check that the battery is properly clicked into its slot, and then that it is charged: these are the two most common causes. If the appliance remains dead with a charged battery, the battery or the appliance may be faulty and you should contact customer service. Repairs carried out by yourself void the warranty and may incur additional costs.
How do I know if my battery is charging or already charged?+
Once the charger is plugged into the socket, the green light comes on. When you slide the battery onto the charger, the green light goes off and the red light comes on: charging is in progress. When the red light goes off and the green light comes back on, the battery is full; then unplug the charger and remove the battery.
Can I charge the battery in my garage in the middle of winter?+
Not if the room is too cold. Do not charge the battery when the room or battery temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C. Charging outside this range can damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
Can I use a battery from another brand on this blower?+
No. Only the original lithium-ion battery is suitable: it must have the same voltage and the same rating plate as the one supplied. A battery from another brand can cause a malfunction, injury or fire.
How do I fit and remove the blower tubes?+
Insert the tube by aligning the arrow with the unlock mark, then turn it clockwise until it reaches the lock icon. To remove it, turn it in the opposite direction until the unlock icon is aligned: the two tubes then come apart. Never force them apart and do not use a tool to separate them.
How do I clean my blower?+
Always switch off the appliance and remove the battery before doing anything. Then regularly wipe the body of the tool with a dry cloth. Never use petrol, benzene, thinner or alcohol: these products discolour, deform or crack the plastic.
How should I store the blower if I won't be using it for several months?+
Switch it off, remove the battery, clean it and take off the air tube if necessary. Then store the appliance and its accessories in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place protected from frost, ideally in its original packaging or under a cover to protect it from dust. Remember to charge the battery before extended storage.
