If the air intake is blocked, the appliance switches off when the heating elements get too hot. Turn off, unplug and let the appliance cool down. Make sure the obstruction has been cleared before using it again.

Place the accessory on the body and slide it down until it clicks into place, then lock it by turning it clockwise. To remove it, press the toggle button and turn the accessory in the opposite direction, then slide it upward.

The Cool-shot button activates with a single press, with no need to hold it down: it sends out cold air to set the style in place. To turn the function off, press this button again or press the air temperature button.

Turn off and unplug the appliance, then wipe the body and the cable with a damp cloth before drying. Do not use detergent or abrasives, and never immerse the appliance, cable or plug in liquid. Clean the air inlet and outlet with a soft brush to prevent any blockage, at least once a month.

Never use the appliance near a bathtub, shower, basin or any other container holding water. After using it in a bathroom, unplug the appliance: closeness to water remains a risk even when it is off. For extra protection, have a residual current device rated no higher than 30 mA installed on the circuit.

No: wrapping the cord around the appliance will eventually damage it. Always turn off, unplug and let the brush cool down before storing it, and hang it by its loop when not in use.

Wash your hair, towel-dry it and then detangle it with a comb or brush before use. Start with the lowest temperature setting to limit heat damage. Work in fine strands: the finer the strand, the faster it dries.
