Frequently Asked Questions

Which battery should I use with the leaf blower?+

Use only a genuine 20V Lithium-Ion battery, matching the voltage and rating plate. Batteries from other brands can cause malfunction, injury, or fire.

How do I install the air tube (nozzle)?+

Align the tube with the unlock icon, insert it, then turn it clockwise until it reaches the lock icon. To remove it, turn it counterclockwise, without forcing it or using tools.

How do I attach and remove the battery?+

Align the battery pack with the grooves at the base and slide it in until it clicks. Check that it is securely locked before use; to remove it, press the release button.

How do I turn it on and adjust the speed?+

Squeeze the variable-speed trigger: airflow increases the harder you squeeze. For continuous operation, first press the release button and then the trigger; the lock button is used to lock the trigger in place.

The battery is warm and won't charge right after use, is this normal?+

Yes: the battery has thermal protection that cuts it off at its temperature limit. Wait 20 to 30 minutes for it to cool down before recharging it.

At what temperature should I charge and store the battery?+

Charge the battery between 0°C and 45°C, and store it between -5°C and 50°C. Never exceed 45°C when charging.

My leaf blower won't start, what should I do?+

Check that the battery is properly inserted and charged; recharge it if needed. If the problem persists, the battery or the appliance may be faulty: contact customer service rather than attempting a repair yourself.

How do I maintain and store the leaf blower?+

Before any maintenance, switch off the tool and remove the battery, then wipe the body with a dry cloth (never petrol, thinner, or alcohol). For storage, remove the battery, store it in a dry place away from frost, and recharge the battery before long-term storage.

My blower doesn't start when I press the trigger, what should I do?+

The trigger is protected by a lock button. First press the unlock button, then the variable-speed trigger to start the blower. After use, the same button lets you lock the trigger again to prevent any accidental start-up.

My blower isn't working at all, what could be causing this?+

First check that the battery is properly clicked into its slot, and then that it is charged: these are the two most common causes. If the appliance remains dead with a charged battery, the battery or the appliance may be faulty and you should contact customer service. Repairs carried out by yourself void the warranty and may incur additional costs.

How do I know if my battery is charging or already charged?+

Once the charger is plugged into the socket, the green light comes on. When you slide the battery onto the charger, the green light goes off and the red light comes on: charging is in progress. When the red light goes off and the green light comes back on, the battery is full; then unplug the charger and remove the battery.

Can I charge the battery in my garage in the middle of winter?+

Not if the room is too cold. Do not charge the battery when the room or battery temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C. Charging outside this range can damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

Can I use a battery from another brand on this blower?+

No. Only the original lithium-ion battery is suitable: it must have the same voltage and the same rating plate as the one supplied. A battery from another brand can cause a malfunction, injury or fire.

How do I fit and remove the blower tubes?+

Insert the tube by aligning the arrow with the unlock mark, then turn it clockwise until you reach the lock icon. To remove it, turn it in the opposite direction until the unlock icon is aligned: the two tubes then separate. Never force them and do not use a tool to separate them.

How do I clean my blower?+

Always switch off the appliance and remove the battery before any work on it. Then regularly wipe the body of the tool with a dry cloth. Never use petrol, benzene, thinner or alcohol: these products discolour, warp or crack the plastic.

How do I store the blower if I won't be using it for several months?+

Switch it off, remove the battery, clean it and take off the air tube if needed. Then store the appliance and its accessories in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place away from frost, preferably in its original packaging or under a cover to protect it from dust. Remember to charge the battery before extended storage.
