Frequently Asked Questions

I press the carbonating button and nothing happens, what should I do?+

Most often the CO2 cylinder is empty: replace it with a full cylinder. It may also be poorly tightened: open the rear cover and tighten it by hand, without tools and without forcing it too much. Be careful when removing it, as it can be very cold, or even frosted over, after use.

Water overflows during carbonating, why?+

First check that the water does not go past the fill line on the bottle. Overflow can also be caused by water that is too warm or a CO2 cylinder that is too warm. A leak from the CO2 cylinder can also be the cause.

I can't remove the water bottle, what should I do?+

This is normal as long as pressure remains in the bottle after carbonating: wait for the pressure to be released before unscrewing it. Then check that you are turning it in the right direction.

Gas keeps escaping after making sparkling water, what should I do?+

Do not remove the water bottle or the CO2 cylinder at this point. Place the machine on a low surface, such as the floor, and wait until you no longer hear the sound of gas being released. Once you are sure the appliance is no longer releasing gas, remove the water bottle and contact customer service: the valve seal is probably the cause.

The screen shows a red lock icon and doesn't respond, how do I start it?+

This is standby mode. Press the red “Lock” button for about 1 second: the three white indicator lights “Light”, “Medium” and “Strong” come on. Then touch the intensity you want to start carbonating. If nothing is selected within 5 seconds, the appliance returns to standby.

What water should I put in the bottle, and how far should I fill it?+

Pour in cold drinking water, between 4 and 7°C, staying between the two fill lines on the bottle. Before first use, rinse the bottle with cold water, not exceeding 40°C.

Can I put the water bottle in the dishwasher or the fridge?+

No, not in the dishwasher, not in a dishwasher drying cycle, and not in the fridge: the bottle risks being damaged and the plastic becomes brittle in the cold. Wash it with pure water not exceeding 40°C, using a long-handled sponge brush if needed. After washing, leave the cap open so it can air-dry naturally.

How do I replace the CO2 cylinder?+

Never refill a CO2 cylinder yourself or dismantle its valve. For a replacement, contact customer service or the official shop: the empty cylinder is taken back and recycled. Before each use, check that the cylinder and its valve show no dents, punctures or damage.
