No. Leave at least ten centimetres of clear space on all sides to allow good air circulation, and never place the fryer under a cupboard, a blind or a curtain: risk of overheating and fire. Do not cover it with a cloth or similar object. Place it on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

No. This fryer runs on hot air and needs very little oil. Never fill the pot with oil or fat: this presents a fire risk. Always place food in the basket so that it does not come into contact with the heating elements.

This is the halfway signal: at the midpoint of the chosen time, the appliance beeps five times and displays a message prompting you to turn the food over. This function accompanies in particular the pork, chips, chicken drumsticks, fish, nuts, prawns, steak and aubergine programmes.

Press the light icon on the control panel: the interior light comes on and lets you see the cooking through the window, without removing the pot.

Never exceed the MAX mark on the pot. For baking bread in particular, the height of the dough must not exceed this mark: otherwise it risks touching the heating element and catching fire. Empty the basket after each use, as excess oil drains into it when preparing fatty foods.

Yes, the basket and the tray can be washed in the dishwasher. They can also be cleaned with a sponge and hot soapy water, without abrasive products or a scouring pad. Never immerse the fryer or its plug in water: wipe the outside with a damp cloth, then dry all parts before storing.

The warranty lasts one year from the date of purchase. It applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It does not cover normal wear, or damage caused by negligence, misuse, or repair carried out by an unauthorised person.
