Frequently Asked Questions
My vacuum cleaner stops by itself while I'm using it, why?+
The motor stalling is caused by a low battery. Put the appliance on charge and wait for a full charge before resuming. The battery must only be recharged with the charging adapter supplied with the appliance.
Suction has dropped noticeably, what should I do?+
Two possible causes: the dust cup filter is full and needs to be cleaned or replaced; or the floor brush's air intake duct is blocked and the rotating brush is jammed, in which case the brush needs cleaning. Empty and clean the dust remover regularly.
The indicator light doesn't come on when I plug in the charger, what should I check?+
Both plugs of the charging adapter are probably not properly connected: reconnect them. When charging is complete, the indicator light turns green.
My vacuum cleaner no longer holds its charge, what is causing this?+
Either the charging time was insufficient, or the battery is ageing. Allow about 4 to 6 hours for a full charge and 15 to 25 minutes of runtime. Fully charge the battery before first use or after prolonged storage.
How long does it take to charge the vacuum cleaner and what runtime should I expect?+
A full charge takes about 4 to 6 hours and the runtime is 15 to 25 minutes. Only use the charging adapter supplied with the appliance.
How do I clean the dust cup filter?+
Press the bottom button to open the bottom of the dust cup and empty it out. Open the bottom of the cup and turn it anticlockwise to take out the filter grille, then remove the HEPA filter to clean or replace it (only a washable HEPA filter can be rinsed with water). Clean the grille, dry it completely, refit the HEPA filter by lining up the two triangular marks, turn clockwise and close the bottom of the cup.
I'm not using my vacuum cleaner for several months, should I charge it?+
Yes. Charge the battery at least once every three months, otherwise the runtime and lifespan of the battery will be reduced. Fully recharge it before using it again after prolonged storage.
How do I know if the battery needs replacing?+
The battery is damaged if the indicator light doesn't come on once the charger is plugged in, if it doesn't fully charge after more than 5 hours, or if runtime drops to 5-10 minutes. The battery pack must then be replaced; the appliance contains batteries that may only be replaced by qualified persons.
