Frequently Asked Questions
My stick vacuum cleaner is suctioning much less well, what is causing this?+
Two causes are possible. The dust cup filter is full: clean it or replace it. Or the floor brush's air intake duct is blocked, or the rotating brush is jammed: clean the brush to clear the obstruction.
My vacuum cleaner's motor stalls during use, what should I do?+
A motor stalling is most often caused by a low battery: recharge the appliance. The other common cause is a full dust cup filter, which needs to be cleaned or replaced.
The indicator light doesn't come on when I put the vacuum cleaner on charge, why?+
Check that both plugs of the charging adapter are correctly connected, on the socket side and on the vacuum cleaner side. When charging is complete, the indicator light turns green.
My vacuum cleaner only lasts 5 to 10 minutes now, does the battery need replacing?+
Yes. If the appliance no longer charges, if the indicator light stays off while the charger is plugged in, if the battery is not full after more than 5 hours of charging, or if runtime drops to 5-10 minutes, the battery is damaged and the pack must be replaced. This work must be carried out by a qualified person.
How do I clean the dust cup and the HEPA filter?+
Press the bottom button to open the bottom of the cup and empty out the dust. Then open the bottom and turn it anticlockwise to take out the filter grille, then remove the HEPA filter to clean or replace it: only a washable HEPA filter can be rinsed with water. Clean the grille, let it dry completely, then put it back in place before using the vacuum cleaner again.
Does the vacuum cleaner need charging before first use?+
Yes. Fully charge the battery before first use, and likewise after a long period of storage. Only use the charging adapter supplied with the appliance. Recharge the battery at least once every three months, otherwise its runtime and lifespan will decrease.
How long does the vacuum cleaner take to charge and how long does the battery last?+
Allow about 4 to 6 hours for a full charge, for a runtime of 15 to 25 minutes of use. The appliance runs on 22.2 V DC for a power of 180 W.
How do I clean the vacuum cleaner's body?+
Unplug the charging cable before any operation, then wipe the appliance with a dry cloth. Do not use petrol, water or other corrosive liquids. Clean the dust remover regularly.
